Summer 2005 Specialty

	There's a saying in Chicago: if you don't like the weather, just wait (it'll change). The weather was quite variable going from bright and sunny to overcast and threatening to bright and sunny against all in the course of the day. Fortunately for both the dogs and the exhibitors it was blessedly cool for the Chicagoland Samoyed Club Summer Specialty Show held at the fairgrounds in Grayslake, Illinois on June 18, 2005.
		This is our twenty-second annual summer specialty show. Our entry this year represented the best Samoyeds from Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Ontario, Canada. A five point major was awarded in both dogs and bitches.
	Breeder-owner-handlers were well represented in the ribbons with Best in Sweepstakes, Winners Dog, and Best in Specialty Show all going to breeder-owner-handlers.
